Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts which is concerned with human health and processes. It takes into account body mechanics and function as well as the integrity of the nervous system. The science of chiropractic relates the integrity of the spinal column to the nervous system. Chiropractic is rooted in the belief that disease is caused by one or a combination of three components: thought, trauma and toxins. A combination of the above can cause a vertebral subluxation.

Manifesting in the spinal column, a vertebral subluxation will force a vertebrae out of its neutral position and consequently put pressure on a nerve. If our nervous system is compromised, optimal health cannot be achieved. If the spinal column is misaligned, a chiropractor will specifically adjust the spine relieving the pressure on the nervous system, thereby restoring its optimum function. Only then will the body be capable of healing itself.
